Mrs. Beatrice Woods,(nee:Hall), 94 years, born October 11, 1912 in Edwardsville, Illinois, died January 17, 2007 at University Nursing and Rehab Center in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Mrs. Woods lived in Troy, Illinois her entire life. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Troy, Illinois, Order of Eastern Star, and Fern Chapter in Sorento, Illinois for 50 years.

Mrs. Woods is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Maude (nee: Shaffer) Hall, her husband Robert F. Woods whom she married April 5, 1931 and passed away on April 4, 1980, her son Richard Woods who passed away November 23, 2003, her brother Leo Hall, and her sister Helen Brenkendorff.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her daughter Mrs. Nancy (Lewis) Kurke of Scotsdale, Arizona, her sister Mrs. Bernadine Brenkendorff of Troy, Illinois, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

VISITATION HOURS: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 21, 2007.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. from Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, Illinois with Brother Timothy Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Shriners Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
