Barbara Wright, 83, of Troy, IL, born Friday, February 14, 1941 in Montello, WS and passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
Barb was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, IL. She enjoyed her flower gardens and bird watching. She and Harry always enjoyed going on pontoon boat rides at Rend Lake and the road trips in the Corvette. Barb enjoyed and loved pampering her dogs and pets. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed the time she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Wright whom she married August 12, 1962 in Montello, WS and he passed away on April 9, 2008; her parents, Arden and Arlene (nee McDonnell) John; and her sister, Sandra Jurgaitis.
Surviving are her children, Cheryl (Todd) Moore of St. Jacob, IL and John D. (Monica) Wright of Troy, IL; her grandchildren, Curtis (Loree) Moore, Amber Moore, Brendan (Heather) Wright and Keaton (Peyton) Wright; her great-grandchildren, Abigayle Moore, Carsyn and Kollyns Wright.

Visitation for Barb will be 9 to 11 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, IL.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran church Troy, IL with Rev. Albert Collver III. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, troy, IL.
