Obituary
Barbara Kay Watson, 73, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 9, 1940, in Sidney, Ill., died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at her residence.
Barbara was a member of Countryside Methodist Church in Sidney, Ill. She loved to sew, quilt and garden, and was a member of Jarvis Township Senior Center for many years. She was a huge sports fan, especially football, basketball and baseball, but most of all enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert A. and Ruth A., nee White, Thompson.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Don Watson, whom she married May 9, 1965, in San Diego, Calif.; children, Bradford A. Dickerson of Mulkeytown, Ill., and Belinda S. Majstorovic of Milwaukee, Wis.; two grandchildren, Kristen and Chandler Majstorovic; two sisters, Judy (Don) Wirth of Naples, Fla., Jan (Larry) Renn of Goreville, Ill., and a brother, Gayle (Susan) Thompson of Shakopee, Minn.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014, and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
