Barbara Hohbein,nee Emineth, age 92, died June 28, 2010 at Meridian Village, Edwardsville, IL. She was the widow of Ted Hohbein.

Barbara Hohbein was born in Blue Grass, North Dakota to Frank and Monica (nee Dirk) Emineth. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceeded in death by sons, Robert and Charles Hohbein, and daughter, Carolyn Simons.

Mrs. Hohbein is survived by daughter, Doris Hoppenrath of Edwardsville, IL.; sons, Leonard Hohbein of Hillside, IL. and James Hohbein of Bartlett, IL; sister, Veronica Heinz of Bismark, ND; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, July 2, 2010 from 4 to 8 pm at Gibbons Funeral Home, Elmhurst, IL.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010, 10 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elmhurst, Illinois. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
