Anne L. Schultz, age 88, of Maryville, formerly of Webster Groves, Missouri, passed away Tuesday morning, November 30, 2004 at Maryville Manor Nursing Home.
Anne was born May 19, 1916 to Bronek and Caroline (nee Rolaskevich) Lekosky in East St. Louis, Illinois. She married Charles Schultz, who preceded her in death. She worked in the Pentagon Recruiting Office during World War II, along with her husband. Following the war, they returned to Webster Groves, Missouri, where they spent the next 40 years together. Mrs. Schultz worked as a secretary in East St Louis before resigning those duties to become a full-time homemaker. She was a resident of Villa Rose Assisted Living Center in Webster Groves until 2003, when she moved closer to her family due to her failing health.
Mrs. Schultz is survived by her sister, Bernice Panus of Troy, Illinois; four brothers, Edward Lekosky of Columbia, Illinois; Joseph Lekosky of Fairview Heights, Illinois; Frank Lekosky of Troy, Illinois; and John Lekosky of Fairmont City, Illinois; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Schultz in 1994; her parents, and five sisters, Agnes Houlihan, Helen King, Stella Lekosky, Josephine Lekosky, and Rose Sanders.

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon, Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Laughlin Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Tim Lewis of Bethel Baptist Church officiating.
