Anne M. Schaffer-Ilvarsonn, 51, of St. Jacob, IL, born Sunday, October 17, 1971 in Bloomington, IN and passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, IL.

Anne was a Professor at University of Missouri St. Louis.  She was a loving wife and mother.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, James J. Sr.  and Martha E. (nee Harman) Schaffer.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Ilvarsonn of St. Jacob, IL; her daughter, Wren A. Ilvarsonn; brothers, James J. (Claire) Schaffer Jr. of Bloomington, IN and Daniel E. (Julie) Schaffer of Mantorville, IN; and her sister, Edie (Greg) Knapp of Eureka, IL.
