Anna Hedwig Rokita, age 86, passed away at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois on January 14, 2003 at 2:45 pm. She was born in East St. Louis and spent most of her life in Fairview Heights, Illinois. She was a faithful member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Fairview Heights for over 35 years.

She is survived by her brother Frank (Bethel) Rokita of Seattle, Washington; one brother-in-law Edward Kowalski and many nieces and nephews who have very fond memories of her baking and sharing her treats. Anna was thought of as a kind and generous woman, seeming like a second mother to many.

Memorials: Pink Sisters or Masses; and may be mailed to the funeral home

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 am Friday, January 17, 2003 at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy, Illinois with Father Steven Janoski presiding.

Interment: St. Adelbert Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Illinois
