Ann Marie (Maguire) Pearson, 69, of St. Jacob, IL, born Wednesday, August 10,1955 in Landstuhl, Germany passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved the outdoors, her pets, fishing, boating and working in the yard.  She enjoyed rock and roll music, especially Led Zepplin and the Rolling Stones. Ann also loved cooking and baking for her family – her chocolate chip cookies were famous amongst everyone who knew her. She was an excellent seamstress, making garments and Halloween costumes for her loved ones.

Ann met her husband Alan at a high school dance in O'Fallon Illinois in 1972. Their first date was at Dog-N-Suds on Highway 50. They have been together ever since, marrying in 1974. The couple had planned to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in October of this year. Ann ran an in-home daycare for neighborhood children, while raising their two beautiful daughters.

She was preceded in death by her dear parents, retired Senior Master Sergeant Walter and Elizabeth (Ahearn) Maguire, both Irish immigrants.

Surviving are her loving husband, Alan L. Pearson, his sister Kim Matthews, his brother Kevin Pearson; her beloved daughters, Shanna Lynn Dayton of Waukesha, WI and Ashley (Craig) Hoolihan of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, August and Bennett Hoolihan; brothers, Walt (Karen) Maguire of Helotes, TX and Brian (Sue) Maguire of Belleville, IL; her sister, Mary (Anthony) Vasselli of Princeton, NJ; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
