Anita I. Jarvis, 101, of Troy, IL, born Friday, February 15, 1918 in Troy, IL and passed peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at University Nursing and Rehab Center, Edwardsville, IL.

Anita was a faithful member of the Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL where she was involved in the Ladies Guild and many of the churches activities. She worked for Dr. Adams as his receptionist for many years. She was proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Jarvis.

Surviving are her sons, John (Valerie) Jarvis of Troy, IL and JD (Myriam) Jarvis of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, James W. (Sabra) Jarvis and Evan Jarvis; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Alexander Jarvis.
