Amy Sue Hedberg, 43, of Summerfield, Ill., born Jan. 11, 1970, in Belleville, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at her home.
Amy was a medical transcriptionist. She loved her family, especially her two children. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, music and her beloved Chihuahua, Petey.
Surviving are her children, Lindsay Eubanks of Lebanon, Ill., and Patrick Hedberg of Summerfield, Ill.; mother, Jacquelyn, nee Trokey, (Gino) Cappello of Lebanon, Ill.; father, Richard (Dell) DeMond of East Alton, Ill.; siblings, Jeffrey (Tara) DeMond of East Alton, Ill., Jeni (Jim) Zahn of St. Jacob, Ill., Bud (Danielle) Cappello of Edwardsville, Ill., Keri (Jeff) Whaley of Bethalto, Ill., and Kasey (Matthew) Maier of O'Fallon, Mo.; great aunt Dorothy Cook; aunts and uncles, Richard (Melinda) Trokey, Steve (Connie) Trokey, Laura (Dave) Owens, Liz (Tim) Wise, Joyce Overton, Tom (Sue) DeMond, Bud (Helen) DeMond, Chuck (Mary) DeMond, Karen (Dennis) Conley, Joyce Tate and Pat Ormandroyd; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved Chihuahua Petey.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Don Wagner officiating. Interment will be private.
