Amy L. Bergland, 62, of Troy, Ill, born March 22, 1955 in Decatur, Ill., passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at her home, with her daughter Kylee by her side the entire time.
Amy was a member of Gateway Family Church, Glen Carbon, Ill. She was a fighter, battling 13 years against cancer now gone home to be with her Lord. She was very patriotic, and loved being a Cardinal Baseball Fan. She was a people watcher and enjoyed going to the mall, butterflies, flower gardening, Sweets especially chocolate and brownies. She loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane C. (nee Wilcox) Vest.
Surviving are her children, Kylee Bergland of Troy, Ill., Alyssia (Sid) Shrestha of Bloomington, Minn., and Tyler Bergland of Springfield, Mo.; father, George B. Vest of Sullivan, Ill.; sisters, Joyce (Glenn) Kensinger of Normal, Ill., Darcy (John) Lowe of Decatur, Ill.; and brother, Phillip Vest of Nashville, Ill.
