Amelia J. Kilzer, 85, of Troy, Ill., formerly of Belleville, Ill., born Oct.11, 1931 in Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at the Elmwood Nursing and Rehab Center, Maryville, Ill.

Amelia loved her family and enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, dancing, singing and playing bingo.  She was a western movie buff and  faithfully watched the Young and the Restless.

She was preceded in death by her husband,  William L. Kilzer; brothers,  Milton "Rudy" and Fred Kovar; and sister, Helen McCoy.

Surviving are her children, Alan (Karen) Kilzer of Troy, Ill., Kevin (Toni) Link of Granite City, Ill., and April (Eddie) Lacey of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Samantha, Emma and Mark Kilzer, and Shawn and Joshua Link; and sister, Bess Roth of California.

Friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday Dec. 11, 2016 and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Monday Dec. 12, 2016 at   Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday Dec. 12, 2016 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with Rev. Mitchel Schuessler officiating.
