Husband of Tina M. (nee Nicolai) of Troy, Illinois, Father of David M. (Josie) Spala of Rapid City, South Dakota, Matthew Spala of Troy, Illinois and Lezah M. Spala of Troy, Illinois. Brother of George (Marcia) Spala of St. Louis, Missouri, Eva (Tony) Catarinicchia of Affton, Missouri, Jackie (Joe) Beatty of Moline, Illinois and Sharon (Don) Steinbeck of Affton, Missouri. Son of the late George Albert and Hazel Lucille (nee Lewis) Spala.
Funeral services 11 am Friday September 5, 2008 at Laughlin~Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Illinois with the Rev. Monsignor Virgil Mank Officiating. Interment at the Mount Hope Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri
Memorials may be made to the family or charity of ones choice.
Visitation after 10:30 am Friday at the Funeral Home.
