Obituary
Agnes, Adams, nee Small, 86, of Edwardsville, IL, born Dec. 8, 1921 in Tower Hill, PA, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Rosewood Care Center Edwardsville.
Agnes was a homemaker and belonged to Troy United Methodist Church, Troy, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James G. Adams; parents, Joseph and Valeria, nee Dolnicka, Small; and a brother George Small.
Surviving are her children, James E. (Marcia) Adams of Dow, IL, Thomas E. (Mary) Adams of Troy, IL, Clara (Rodger) Lubben of Springfield, IL, Mary Beth(Mark) Chesnut of Chesterfield, MO, Carol (Donald) Stirnaman of Troy, IL, and Nancy (Michael) Pingsterhaus of Troy, IL; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Small of Chicago, IL, and John Small of Cleveland, OH; and two sisters Rose Ratkay of Edina, MN, and Francis Sharp of Tower Hill, PA.
Memorials may be made to Parkinson's Foundation or Troy United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at Troy United Methodist Church, Troy, IL, with Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Burial was in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL.
